Raw Cotton Bales
The raw cotton procured is first cleaned and then processed by our highly modernized ginning machines, which separates the lint from the seed and the lint is finely pressed into bales of 170 kgs each. Packing a product with right material helps in maintaining the quality of the product as it is produced. Our bales are tightly packed with good quality material which helps in smooth transportation. The following are the varieties we deal in:
- MCU-5
- Shankar – 6
- DCH -32

Kaveri Group closely works with farmers and understand the problems at root level. We take initiative in supporting farmers by paying a premium for Better Cotton for which we are registered with Better Cotton Initiative (BCI).
Cotton Seed
Cotton seed makes up about 65% of the raw cotton weight. After separating the cotton seed from lint, we process some seed in our oil mills and the seed that is not processed further is sold to de-lint& solvent mills and oil expellers.
Cotton Seed Cake (UD)
After extracting the oil, the left-over residue called cotton seed cake is soldfor cattle feed.
Cotton Seed Oil (Crude)
After our gins separate the lint from cotton seed, we further process the cotton seed in our oil mills to extract oil. This oil is sold to oil refineries, who process it further for human consumption.
Cowdy Bales (Gin Motes)
We also supply cowdy bales to Open-end spinning mills
