About Founder
Our founder, Mr. Kakkirala Ramesh is one of the leading businessmen in the field of cotton ginning industry in India. He currently manages 9 Ginning and Pressing units, which have a combined turnover of Rs. 1000 Crores. He comes with a rich and diverse experience of 30 years in the cotton industry.
Mr. Ramesh is an expert at turning around sick cotton ginning industries into profitable ventures. He started off as a commission agent and grew the ladder to establish the ginning units, hence he has a very detailed and in-depth knowledge of cotton and its market in India and abroad. Throughout his career he has dealt with every element in the value chain system of this industry – cotton farmers, commission merchants, traders, ginners, spinners, and cloth manufacturers. For him Kaveri Group is not a mere business entity but a way of giving back to the country and the farmers. Therefore, he has been a businessman with a practical mind and human heart.
Mr. Ramesh has played a crucial role in forming Telangana Cotton Association, which helps the farmers and ginners to function smoothly through amicable problem solving andacts as a mediator between the government, farmers and the ginners. He has been serving as the General Secretary of Telangana Cotton Association since its inception in 2014.
